What is Concierge Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care, or DPC, is a healthcare model focusing on the physician-patient relationship. It is a concierge-style of medicine that does not bill insurance or have hidden fees. For a low monthly membership fee, patients have easy, direct and quality access to Missy whenever they need it.
Patients may continue to use insurance for labs, X-rays, Emergency Room visits, Urgent Care visits and/or appointments with specialists. Unlike the insurance model that limits the visit time and restricts the number of concerns that can be discussed in one visit, the DPC model allows the provider and patient as much time as needed to discuss all issues of concern. Direct Primary Care is a much more personalized approach to medicine!
